I have made many mistakes in my lifetime but booking this company for my move ranks near the top. I told EVERYONE I spoke with that I would need a small truck to access my property, not a semi. The sales person even looked it up on Google Maps and assured me a small truck would be used 'At every step of the move I reconfirmed that it must be a small truck, not a semi . The contract showed no assessibility for a semi. When the delivery was within 24 hours the driver called. The first thing I asked him to confirm was that they had a smaller truck. No, they had a semi. They could not get into our property (which I knew they wouldn't be able to), had to find a large Uhaul, offload it from the semi and then deliver it to us on the Uhaul. They then made us pay an additional $950 for this expense. I called the General Manager to discuss this, he was very rude , made every excuse imaginable, accused me of not understanding how they do business and when I asked if the company would absorb this expense he said "do you think you're my mother? Why would I consider covering this cost?" This was the General Manager......REALLY???? RUN, don't WALK away from this company. They will promise you anything to get the bo'oking and then all they do is tell you what you must and must not do.

I cannot believe they have a high rating with the total lack of professionalism and integrity in their deceptive business practice. I hope I can spare at least one person the misery we encountered with booking with "A PLUS MOVING & STORAGE, MIAMI, FL" The A must stand for AGONY!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Also known as Integrity Van Lines, Big Boy Moving Services Inc., Allied Relocation Services.

This company advertises that they are not a broker, they are.

This company will provide you a binding estimate and then end up double and even tripling the price once they have all of your belongings in their possession.

Their own paperwork shows miscalculations, by hundreds and thousands of dollars and still they will not take any accountability for anything/everything they did wrong.

They mysteriously added an additional 700 cubic feet they day they showed up a day early (I called the previous day to ensure that nothing was scheduled and they confirmed nothing had been scheduled) I allowed them to continue the move because they have said all along that they were NOT a broker, so I figured we would iron everything out over the next couple of days.

The original binding estimate was about $5400 for 1124 cubic feet, they ended up charging us just under $9,000 for 1890 cubic feet that they were unable to verify. They also were about to charge an additional $4,000 for a "Re Delivery Fee" and a "Shuttle Service Fee" which was never mentioned until everything was already in their possession.

The "Re-Delivery Fee" is if they are unable to delivery the goods on the first attempt "for any reason". So IF they use an 18 wheeler and the truck cannot get into your apartment complex, they will charge $1/cubic foot or $1,890. How is the customer supposed to know IF they use an 18 wheeler? How is the customer supposed to know IF the 18 wheeler will fit?

The "Shuttle Service Fee" is IF they need to break down the move into a smaller truck to deliver. So $1/cubic foot or $1,890. Again, how is the customer supposed to know IF you are using an 18 wheeler, how is the customer supposed to know IF you are going to get access to the delivery location, or IF a smaller truck is needed?

So, we rented a 26' truck from Penske with a capacity of 1700 cubic feet, changed the delivery address to where we knew a semi could get access and then had them move from the semi into the truck rental with documented capacity of 1700 cubic feet. IT ONLY FILLED 3/4 OF THE TRUCK OR ABOUT 1200 CUBIC FEET. I HAVE VIDEO AND PICTURES WITH EIGHT WITNESSES. And they still would not provide any refund.

They also over charged us according to their own paperwork for packing materials that were used. Their own paperwork shows 9ft x .25cents. It should be $2.25 but they charged us $162! They would not provide refund. The GM, Phil James, is a joke. He was so cold, and so dismissive of all of these points (plus many more) and he would not take any responsibility or accountability for anything. The worst customer service phone call I have ever experienced, and I have been in customer service industry for over 25 years. He said he would do an audit, which they did, BUT they could not answer how the number of additional items correlated to cubic feet. Again, we are talking about a two bedroom apartment with no stove, no refrigerator, no washer, no dryer, no coach! SMH.

They advertise "Senior Discounts" and when I mentioned that, he scoffed and said "You guys are paying $4 per cubic foot". I said well there nothing on the estimate that shows any discount.

I all ever asked for was verification of the actual cubic feet. I never got that despite repeatedly asking.

My family and I finally got our verification when we filled the moving truck with a capacity of 1700 cubic feet and it was only filled 3/4 of the way.

We have video, recorded phone calls, pictures, witnesses, and text messages proving everything I have stated.

Oh! They have said all along that they are not a broker. Well, then why, once our belongings were in their possession, we dealt with CentralDispatch, Big Boy Moving Services Inc. and when the driver showed up for delivery he said he was an independent contractor and if anything was an issue, we had to take it to the company that we were working with. And the "Professional Movers" that they advertise on their website, we (self-admitted) hired off of Craigslist for $20/hour.

Great movers, worked extremely fast and were very delicate with my furniture. The price was very reasonable; actually, the word is CHEAP for work quality compared to other places. Much better than other movers we've used in the past. I'm definitely using these guys for my next move! They handled all of our belongings with care but were so fast. We had a BEAST of a mattress! These guys didn't complain and just handled it! The price was also very reasonable. Definitely recommend this company!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6500

I was Quoted close to $2800. Drivers get there and take 2 hours to access items that were already boxed up, disassembled and ready to go. Items were on a garage from a previous move in June. The driver then hands me another estimate to sign before they can load the truck. After two hours of accessing and looking for items the estimate goes up to a whopping $3700 for a two bedroom condo worth of furniture! I told the guy I couldn’t pay that and he contacted his manager and they agreed to go down to $3300 but claimed if I didn’t use that much space it would less! How are they making up prices?! I was already skeptical to use them because the sales rep Joseph was so pushy steadily calling me and talking over an hour when I kept telling him I was sick and couldn’t talk. I had Covid and was very sick. He went on an on about how great their company is and they are not a broker so they are better than the previous companies I had spoken with. I finally had to hand up on him! He kept apologizing and left a text to contact him showing good reviews of the company and all that. I call him back two weeks later (still not feeling the best) and book with and get scammed with no refund! Ironically Joseph never answered the phone when I kept calling about my estimate being changed. The whole time I’ve been sick he was calling constantly and leaving voicemails and emails! Don’t believe them, they quote you one price and raise it when they get there! This is what he told me brokers do not A Plus Moving and Storage! This company makes you pay the deposit with Zelle so you can’t get a refund for their deception! After being sick and off work over 2 weeks due to Covid I end up losing money to a scamming moving company! Beware!!

Well I’d like to start by highlighting that “A plus moving and Storage” is also “Big Boy Moving Services inc” which is also “Integrity Van Lines,” and last but not least is also “Jacob and Son Moving.” Hmmmm… why would a business have so many different names? This is because they are constantly hiding from people they screw over. Please take head of this entity. They will rob you of all your valuables and say “they are lost.” These people are pure criminals. Starting with “Jack” the sales man who will call you a million times in an hour to get you to sign your stuff away to the devil. Once you are signed up and send in your money, you will never hear from Jack again. Also, we were given an affordable sentiment for it to then be hiked by 2500 after they put our things in the truck ( Porbus Ruslan is CROOK). They also won’t give you insurance docs which was a win for me. Once your stuff is on the truck, Kiss it good bye as it is in the hands of the despicable, and most valuables you will never see again. I had approx 25 boxed and ended up with 15 , two broken tvs, and broken mirrors.

The other reviews are also true about the gravel. There was so much gravel in the boxes it was pouring out and scratched the floors. When looking at the boxes I noticed all were open and re-taped with a different tape. I used specific tape just for this reason. We found tools of theirs, hammers screw drivers etc, and we also found their very crappy marijuana in my box too. So yes, they are also irresponsible drug users. As stated boxes were opened, all of my louis v and Gucci belts were stolen, go yard wallets gone, as well as half of my sneaker collection. Mind you I have been collecting for a decade. My girlfriend is a seamstress, they took all of her fabric and both sewing machines.

Once you call corporate you will speak to both Melissa and Liah. Liah is very sweet but doesn’t know a thing, and Melissa is extremely rude, ignorant and mis-educated. She can not prove a point respectfully, and when she realizes that she hangs up on you or just states “she has things to do and has to go” meanwhile we are paying customers. I have been battling these people since 1/18/22. Half the things she say doesn't make sense, but then again you don’t need to be very educated to work dispatch for a crooked moving company. It is now March and there has not been much movement. Make sure when this happens to you, you make a police report in the state they packed your goods in, as well as make a report with FDOT and call weekly. Then you will get some results .

Be Weary of…

Companies that do not accept credit cards and only accept cash or zelle. There is a reason why they want the money now and in an irreversible way, you will not get your money back.

Companies that call you over and over again for your sale. Does Best Buy do this ? They harass you more than a Jehovah’s Witness because they want to rob you.

Companies with multiple business names, check google reviews but MOST IMPORTANTLY FDOT and the Better Business Bureau. As google reviews can be fake and for this company THEY ARE FAKE!

Ps. I am sorry for those who are moving out of state and get taken advantage of by companies like these. Let’s ensure we stand up for one another. Bombard these people with reviews so they no longer can operate.

I just moved from a 3 Bedroom Condo In Orlando to Chicago. This is my 5th move and so far best experience I have had using a Moving Company I was considering using Pods or UPack but I'm VERY glad I didn't their price was more and I would have had to do all the work.. The guys showed up on time, communication was clear and when delivered I inspected all of my furniture and nothing was damaged or missing.. Thank you to the Crew and Customer Service for being upfront and professional! If I move again which I may in the future I will be using this company again I also would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving out of state these guys knew what they were doing and handled my items with care as I watched them load my items onto the truck and Unload my items which I did. I have had some bad experiences and this was finally a good experience!

Was working round the clock up until the move and really had barely anytime to pack. When I get home I'm usually exhausted so packing became something I knew I was going procrastinate on. I ended up having this company take care of both the packing and move. They labeled all the boxes and categorized them by rooms in my place. Honestly this is something I never really did in the past. I would box things up last minute normally. It was nice having someone put in a bit more time and detail into it. It made unpacking so much easier. I can't think of much I didn't like about working with them. The company was far more put together than a lot of local movers I've used in the past.
